Situated in sixteen acres of private and beautifully landscaped grounds, Starfish Cottage is a family-owned holiday cottage located two miles south of the Cornish port of Falmouth.

The two bedroom cottage sleeps up to four people (plus a travel cot) and pets are allowed.

The cottage has a four star rating by the English Tourist Board. Awarded a Gold in the David Bellamy Conservation Awards, the surrounding gardens and grounds straddle a stream that meanders through a wooded valley.

The grounds completely enclose a private holiday park that provides a safe holiday environment for adults and children of all ages.

The shallow stream flowing through the holiday park is home to some ducks and other wildlife, it also provides a fun play environment for children.

Everything a Good Holiday Needs

The cottage is a 5 minute drive from two beautiful sandy beaches, Maenporth and Swanpool - whilst the popular Gyllyngvase Beach is only 10 minutes away.

At Swanpool you can hire jet skis, canoes or surf skis - even go water ski-ing. For children there is crazy golf and climbing activities run by the Swanpool Beach Leisure Complex.

Swanpool is also home to the acclaimed Three Mackerel Restaurant and Bar which has stunning veranda views across the bay.

Wet weather activities include the Ships and Castle indoor leisure pool, rapids and water slide, the National Maritime Museum, Pendennis Castle and various boat trips from Falmouth Harbour. The short trip over to St. Mawes is very popular, as well as trips up the Fal to Truro or Smuggler's Cottage - also the Helford River, taking in Frenchman's Creek. Less than 5 minutes away is Falmouth Golf Club, which has fantastic views across Falmouth Bay.

The cottage is about a 10 minute drive from Falmouth town centre and within an hour of many of Cornwall's most popular tourist attractions, including; The Eden Project, St. Michael's Mount, The Cornish Mines Discovery Centre, Poldark Mine, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Paradise Park, Trebah Gardens, Glendurgan Gardens, Goonhilly Earth Station, and Flambards Adventure Park.

The cottage is very easy to get to and find, being only a 5 minute drive from the A39 just outside Falmouth.
